Infant Care

Here at FBSCEC we are honored to have the opportunity to care for your child. We place an emphasis on showing your child God’s Love. Our Infants are on the schedule that their parents set for them. We conduct a visit with our new families before their first day to ensure that our teachers are familiar with your child’s schedule. We pride ourselves on partnering with our parents to meet the needs of your growing family.

Creeper Care

Our Creeper class follows a class schedule set for their room.  They spend time playing and learning in their environment, reading books, working puzzles and completing art projects. Our friends in the creeper room have met new milestones: they are drinking from cups, and they are progressing towards only napping once per day.  Our Creeper class is a great place for your child to grow in a structured environment, where we can show your child God’s Love.

Toddler Care

Toddlers are on a routine set for their room. Our toddlers are offered several enriching activities which include outside play time, reading books, working puzzles, completing craft projects and weekly music classes. We also make sure that we show and teach our toddlers about the Love of God. Our toddlers eat in their classroom so that our teachers can work on self-help skills such as using utensils, drinking from cups, and sitting at the table.

After School Care

Our After School program is for ages K5 through 3rd grade. Our bus picks up from Plain and Simpsonville Elementary in the afternoon. We use the 15 passenger government regulated mini-buses to transport our children to and from schools and on field trips. These buses are designed specifically for small children and are equipped with seat belts.

Schedule

During the school year, our schedule is as follows:
2:30-3:00 – Bus pickup at local schools and snack at daycare upon arrival
3:00-4:00 – Homework Time (teacher assisted)
4:00-4:45 – Center/Free Play
4:45-6:00 – Gym/Playground Time

During the summer months, we offer full-day daycare for rising K5, 1st and 2nd graders with daily activities in house and weekly field trips & activities. We charge a one time summer camp activity fee at the beginning of the summer for all trips.

Other important information

We offer childcare services for enrolled children on teacher workdays and school holidays for an extra charge per day. If the children are here all week, such as for Christmas break, Spring Break, or summer break there is charge per week. Our center is closed only for major holidays. Please refer to our School Calendar for a listing.
